How is Impryntd different from a regular journaling app?

Most journaling apps are built around the idea of recording every day — moods, gratitudes, small moments, the texture of ordinary life. Impryntd is built around a different idea: the experiences that punctuate a life. The play that moved you. The book that changed how you think. The meal that became a story. We’re not trying to capture everything. We’re trying to capture what’s worth keeping.

What kinds of experiences can I capture?

At launch, Impryntd supports theatre. We’ll expand from there — the long-term vision is a home for every kind of meaningful experience, including film, books, meals, music, talks, travel, exhibitions, and more. If something mattered to you, it belongs here.

Is what I capture private?

Accepted Answer

Yes, by default. Everything you imprint is private unless you choose to share it. Connections on Impryntd are mutual — both people agree before they can see each other’s activity. There are no public profiles, no open followers, no strangers browsing your experiences. You decide who sees what.

Question 5

Will my data be used to train AI models or sold to third parties?

Accepted Answer

No. Your data belongs to you. We will not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models. We may use metadata and no private information to enhance your experience. Any changes to the initial approach will be reflected in our policies on an ongoing basis and informed. The full details of how we handle your data are in our Privacy Policy.

Question 6

Who owns the experiences I imprint?

You do. The experiences you capture, the notes you write, the photographs you upload — all of it is yours. You will have ability to export your data at any time, and you will be able to request that we delete it entirely by emailing privacy@impryntd.com.

When will Impryntd launch?

We’re building as quickly as we can to get the app into your hands — early access will open to waitlist members first, rolling out in waves before a wider public launch. We don’t have a fixed date to share yet. The best way to make sure you’re first is to join the waitlist and indicate that you’re open to early access when you sign up.

How do I get early access?

Join the waitlist through this website. When you sign up, you’ll be asked whether you’d like to be considered as an early adopter — if you say yes, we’ll prioritise you in the first wave of invitations. Early access will be small and deliberate. We’d rather give a few people a great experience than many people a rushed one.

Will Impryntd be free?

The core experience — capturing, organising, and revisiting your experiences — will be free. We’ll introduce an optional paid tier later for those who want additional features. We’ll be transparent about what’s in each tier well before it goes live.
